What we do

Welcome to the future of sustainable living. Xaqua are pioneers in water and energy conservation, dedicated to making everyday life more eco-friendly and keeping the environment happy!

At the forefront of innovation and sustainability, we are proud to introduce our revolutionary water recycling washing machine, the world’s first true home-use water recycling washing machine, designed to revolutionise how we do laundry while caring for the environment.

Created by visionary inventor Graham Smith and entrepreneurial engineer Mark Newbury, this game-changing appliance is the result of over a decade of dedication, prototypes, and rigorous testing.

Xaqua´s advanced washing machine can save between 10 and 20 litres of water per wash by storing and reusing water efficiently, dramatically reducing water consumption in each cycle. But we haven’t stopped there.  By design, the Xaqua washing machine saves energy by utilising the warm water stored in its integrated tank, ensuring your laundry is washed with minimal energy and maximum efficiency.

We believe that sustainability doesn’t have to compromise performance. Our mission is to bring you state-of-the-art technology that not only reduces your ecological footprint but also enhances your everyday experience

To bring this truly ecologically friendy washing machine to life, we have teamed up with washing maching manufacturer Ebac Ltd to ensure the highest quality product and long life (five year warranty) that you´d expect from a British-built product.

Join us on our journey towards a greener tomorrow. Together, we can keep the environment happy and create a cleaner world, one wash at a time.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to transform how households use water and energy. Our water recycling washing machine cuts wastewater output and saves between 10 to 20 litres of wash water with each wash, which  helps to reduce harmful effluent damage to rivers and preserve our precious natural resources and waterways.

And it doesn´t stop at reducing water usage!  The machine also conserves energy by using the warm water stored in its integrated tank, making every wash both highly efficient and super eco-friendly.

 The future is bright!

Our first Xaqua machine is designed to work with the "Refresh" and "Quick" wash cycles on a 9kg machine.  We are working with various partners to introduce a patented micoplastic filter into the next version of the machine due out at the end of 2025 and further helping the environment  by reducing the plague of micro plastic currently in the world.    Our version 2 machine with also be programmed to provide more economical wash cycles designed to keep the environment happy!

 Eco info and Links

One UK water company takes more than 2.6 billion litres of  water from the natural underground stores and rivers to supply each of it´s 10.1 million customers every day.  If each one of those customers used an Xaqua washing machine to do their one wash a day, it would reduce the need to pump 100 million litres of water each day and save 100 million litres of waste water.  That´s just one region in the UK.   We need to save water...  Reducing the amount of water taken from rivers and the ground helps ensure that there is enough water to keep rivers flowing and clean, and ground water to naturally irrigate trees and crops.

Reducing waste water enables water treatment companies to keep storage tank levels low to store storm water when needed.   The Rivers Trust, an environmental charity dedicated to the conservation of our rivers, has created an online map  which shows exactly where the sewerage network discharges and overflows into rivers.   Surfers Against Sewage has created the Safer Seas and Rivers Service, an app which tracks sewage overflows and pollution risk forecasts, monitoring water quality at over 400 locations around our rivers and coastlines.
